1️⃣ Tawa Fried Fish (Kashmiri Style)
2️⃣ Koli-Kolhapuri Fish Curry (Rassa)
📍 1. Tawa Fried Fish – Deep Red, Crispy & Flavorful
🧾 Ingredients:

Surmai or Bangda – 4-5 slices

Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp

Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
-
Rice flour – 1 tbsp
-
Rava (semolina) – 1 tbsp
-
Salt – to taste
🧂 Masalas:

Kashmiri Mirchi Masala – 1 tsp

Selam Haldi – ½ tsp
-
Kolhapuri Masala – ½ tsp
-
Jeera powder – optional, pinch
🔥 Method:

Marinate fish with lemon juice, salt, ginger-garlic paste, and all masalas. Rest 30 mins.

Coat each piece in a mix of rice flour and rava.

Shallow fry on a medium flame till crispy and golden. Serve with onion-lemon salad.
📍 2. Rustic Koli-Kolhapuri Rassa
🧾 Ingredients:

Any fish (Pomfret, Surmai, Rawas) – 500g

Onion – 2, sliced

Tomato – 1, chopped
-
Coconut – 2 tbsp, grated
-
Tamarind pulp – 1 tbsp
-
Oil – 2 tbsp
-
Salt – to taste
🧂 Masalas:

Koli Mix Masala – 1 tbsp

Fish Masala – 1 tbsp

Selam Haldi – ½ tsp

Kolhapuri Masala – 1 tsp
-
Kashmiri Mirchi Masala – ½ tsp
🍛 Method:

Roast coconut till golden and grind with water.

Heat oil, fry onions until golden. Add tomatoes, cook till soft.

Add all masalas and fry till oil separates.

Add coconut paste and tamarind pulp. Mix and boil.

Add fish and simmer gently for 8–10 minutes. Let rest before serving.
